My Georgia health care friends feel stabbed in the back by the governor. What are your thoughts.

I do not feel that way. Honestly I feel that the social distancing, at least here in GA, has done what it was meant to do. The volume of patients in the ER is way down, and we are not seeing the sick (very sick) COVID patients. So, I think it is time to put the virus back into circulation. Remember that the purpose of the quarantine was to delay the 'peak' and to not reach capacity point in our hospitals. It was never the purpose to stop the pandemic. Without a vaccine, and with an R-NOT of close to 5 means that close to 90% of the population will eventually be exposed to or have the illness. So we kind of have to allow the virus to circulate through the population some more, get some sick people out there in amounts that are manageable. Does that make sense?
