Was this man admitted Dr Carlo?
He understandably was in a great deal of pain, however l can’t understand why he was made to wait so long to see wound care.
One wonders what could have happened if they hadn’t have had the foresight to come to the ER?
Thank you for sharing this video.

Fantastic Video. Too bad the wound was left untreated for that long. Great job!

That looked so painful. Did he have to have IV antibiotics or be admitted?

Wow. Poor guy. Very generous of him to allow filming. I’m so glad they decided to go to the ER despite the questionable advice they received. Wishing him a full recovery! Beautiful care by you as always Dr. Oller.

I was speechless when I saw the state of this wound! I was unable to understand why he wasn't treated much sooner for the obvious abscess in his ankle. I know this had to be unbearably painful for the patient! I wondered why you didn't numb further down into his foot and lower few inches of leg when you knew you would have to squeeze in that area to move the pus out. Also, what was the reason you didn't inject more lidocaine when he began groaning and almost crying during the drainage portion of the procedure?

You didn't think to use a towel to start with and normally you incise toward the bottom to let gravity drain most of it out is this an unsupervised intern

Are you saying that Dr. Oller, the doctor in this video, is an unsupervised intern?
